Modern Slavery Statement

Our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking.

Last updated: 2 June 2026

1. Our commitment

Angel Landscapes & Groundworks has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. Although we sit below the £36 million threshold of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we voluntarily publish this statement to make our position clear to customers, suppliers and the public.

2. Our business

We are a sole trader providing groundworks, plant hire and hard landscaping across Bognor Regis and West Sussex. Our team is small and locally based; we know everyone who works on our jobs.

3. Our supply chain

We source aggregates, concrete, drainage products and plant from established UK suppliers. We prefer suppliers who can demonstrate their own anti-slavery policies and we are willing to terminate relationships where concerns are raised.

4. Our policies

  • We pay all workers and subcontractors at or above the National Living Wage
  • We verify the right-to-work status of anyone we engage
  • We do not use unverified labour-only agencies
  • We treat every worker with dignity and respect

5. Reporting concerns

Anyone with concerns about modern slavery in our business or supply chain can email infopaul41@gmail.com in confidence. Concerns can also be reported to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.

This statement is reviewed annually and approved by the owner of Angel Landscapes & Groundworks.
