1. Parties
These terms apply between Angel Landscapes & Groundworks ("we", "us") of 77 Pevensey Road, Bognor Regis, PO21 5NZ, and the customer named on the quote ("you").
2. Quotes
All quotes are free and valid for 30 days. Quotes are based on information you provide and a visual site inspection. If ground conditions, access or scope change, we will agree any variation in writing before continuing.
3. Acceptance
A contract is formed when you confirm the quote by email, text or in writing and we acknowledge the start date.
4. Payment
- Jobs under £1,000: payment in full within 7 days of completion
- Jobs over £1,000: 30% deposit, balance within 7 days of completion
- Materials over £500 may be invoiced on delivery
- Late payment may incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate
5. Access & site
You are responsible for confirming property boundaries, locating private services (cables, pipes, septic tanks) and providing reasonable access for plant and skips. We will mark any utilities we identify but accept no liability for unmarked private services.
6. Variations
Additional work outside the original scope will be priced and agreed before being carried out.
7. Warranty
Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion. The warranty excludes damage caused by third parties, ground movement outside our control, or works subsequently altered by others.
8. Insurance & liability
We hold £2 million public liability insurance. Our total liability under any job is limited to the value of that job. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Cancellation
You may cancel any time before work starts. Materials already ordered and any non-recoverable costs will be invoiced.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
